Welcome to Graduate America
You’ve given your time and effort in service to your country. Now, let us help you use those experiences—discipline, leadership, and commitment—as leverage in pursuing a hands-on, industry-relevant education. Our Veteran Services team is here to guide you every step of the way.
We accept a variety of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefits, including:
Chapter 31 (Veteran Readiness & Employment – VR&E)
For veterans who have service-connected disabilities and need support with training or employment.
Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 GI Bill®)
If you served on active duty after September 10, 2001, or if you are a dependent or spouse with transferred benefits.
Chapter 35 (Survivors’ & Dependents’ Educational Assistance)
For children or spouses of veterans who have passed away or are severely disabled.
SkillBridge / Career Skill Programs
Training opportunities available during the last 180 days of active duty to help you gain hands-on experience and facilitate your transition into civilian employment.
On top of VA benefits, you may qualify for additional financial aid, including:
Scholarship or grant programs specifically for veterans, reservists, and members of the National Guard.
Institutional grants or special discounts for military students.
Advice and assistance from our Veteran Financial Aid Specialists on applying for and combining benefits.
We provide dedicated support to make your educational transition smoother, including:
A Military Support Center as a primary point of contact for questions.
Admissions representatives who specialize in working with service members and veterans.
Campus and program orientations tailored to military students.
Access to peer and academic resources to help with reintegration and success.
Campus facilities or lounge areas (if available) reserved especially for military veterans or service members.
Q: Can I use my Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) for your training programs?
A: Yes — veterans who qualify under Chapter 33 may use those GI Bill® benefits for eligible training at our institution.
Q: What about benefits if I have a service-connected disability?
A: If you are eligible for Chapter 31 (VR&E), we are able to accept those benefits. Our team helps veterans navigate the application and documentation.
Q: Do my housing costs or allowances get covered under my benefits?
A: Possibly. Some benefit packages include a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) depending on eligibility. We encourage you to speak with the Military Support Center to understand how housing and other stipends apply.
Q: What is Title 38 US Code 3679(e)?
A: Under Title 38 US Code 3679(e), while your VA benefit payments are pending, you will not be denied enrollment, required to pay late fees, or denied access to classes and other services if you've submitted necessary forms like a Certificate of Eligibility or other VA documentation.
Q: Can I train while still serving on active duty?
A: Yes — our programs may offer options for active duty service members (for example, through SkillBridge-type programs). Typically, these require command approval and adherence to eligibility criteria.
